Drive, Chip & Putt

ELIGIBILITY

  • Drive, Chip and Putt is open to boys and girls ages 10-15. Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions in two age categories:10-12 years old; 13-15 years old. Age category is determined by age of the participant on the date of the event.

  • All participants are required to register for the event via the online registration form. Registration closes 1 hour prior to the start time of the event.

SCORING

  • Each participant will compete in all three skills (Drive, Chip and Putt). Participants will attempt five (5) shots per skill, for a total of fifteen (15) shots.

  • Participants will accumulate points in each skill according to scoring rules defined below.

  • The participant with the highest number of points in an individual skill will be declared the winner of the skill in his or her age category. The participant with the highest point total in all three skills combined will be declared the champion of his or her age category.

Drive

  • Each participate will hit 5 drives on a virtual 60-yard wide Long Drive grid.

  • Drives that do not track on the launch monitor are re-hit.

  • A drive must come to rest in the grid to score points. Drives coming to rest outside of the scoring grid are disqualified.

  • Each qualifying drive is measured by the launch monitor and displayed on the E6 software as TOTAL DISTANCE.

  • Points are awarded based on TOTAL DISTANCE according to the following scorecard.

Chip

  • Each participate will hit 5 chips on a virtual chipping area from a distance of 40 yards to the flag.

  • Chips that do not track on the launch monitor are re-hit.

  • A chip must come to rest on the green to score points. Chips coming to rest off of the green are disqualified.

  • Each qualifying chip is measured by the launch monitor and displayed on the E6 software as DISTANCE TO THE PIN.

  • Points are awarded based on DISTANCE TO THE PIN according to the following scorecard.

Putt

  • Each participate will hit 5 putts on a virtual putting green from a distance of 20 feet to the flag.

  • Putts that do not track on the launch monitor are re-hit.

  • A putt must come to rest on the green to score points. Putts coming to rest off of the green are disqualified.

  • Each qualifying putt is measured by the launch monitor and displayed on the E6 software as DISTANCE TO THE PIN.

  • Points are awarded based on DISTANCE TO THE PIN according to the following scorecard.

PRIZES

  • Highest score overall across both divisions and all categories (Boys 10-12, Boys 13-15, Girls 10-12, Girls 13-15) will be awarded 1 week FREE admission into the iSwing Junior Golfers Peak Performance summer camp. [$399 value]

  • 1st place from each boys and girls age category (excluding the winner of the highest score overall) will be awarded one (1) private Golf Lesson with iSwing’s PGA-certified golf instructor. [$75 value]

  • The winners of each skill from each boys and girls age groups will receive a commemorative event certificate with their name and score achieved on the skill.
